Brugal is an impressive son of the ‘Keur’ stallion Indorado. Indorado has had an impressive jumping carreer at Interational level and is sire to many good jumpers like Eurocommerce Milano, VDL Oranta, Heechhiem’s Springtime and many more.
Then, in the sire line, we find Guidam who is sire to Authentic (who won a bronze medal at the Beijing Olympics for the USA with rider Elisabeth Patton Madden), Armani and Ninja la Silla. Then we see the top jumper producers: Notaris, Marco Polo and Koridon xx.
Brugal is from a very good motherline: Mother Solaris is ‘Keur’and was one of the top mares in her EPTM test, the jury gave her a 9 for jumping, take off and potential as a jumping Horse. The sister of Solaris is mother of the approved stallion Intermezzo (f. Indorado) and the International jumper Olona (with rider Cassio Rivetti). Granddam Dolaris D is mother to the National jumper Nolaris and of the Z-jumpers Hurricane and Kuilenrode. She is also granddam of the International jumpers Platini, Carthagena and the approved Stallions Platini, Pouwer and Within Temptation.
At the base of this motherline is the mare Sirikit who jumped at International level.
Brugal is approved by the SBS studbook and impressed them with his powerfull canter, jumping ability and jumping technique.
