Carlton Hill (Uphill x Vincent) Carlton Hill is an appealing stallion with three strong impressive powerful gaits with balance, rhythm and suspension. At the KWPN Stallion Show he was an eye catcher ending in 4th place in the finals of the Championship for dressage horses. In the KWPN performance test he was reserve champion with 82.5 points! His showed good character with remarks on the ease of the ride. He received a total score of 82.5 points with an 8.5 for his walk, trot, and rideability and all other components received 8’s. Carlton Hill has trained to Grand Prix and competing CDI3* FEI small tour in 2022 with scores up to 71%+. In 2015 Carlton Hill had a fantastic score with his rider Malin Nilsson he won the Inter 1 Freestyle with over 77% at the German Horse show in Breckenfeld.

As a young horse, As 4-year old he placed 5th in the PAVO Cup with 86 points. In 2012 Carlton Hill won the Open Swedish Championship for 5-year old dressage horses. Together with his rider Mia Runesson he scored in total 86.8%. In 2013 at the Scandinavian open Dressage Championships for young horses Carlton Hill and his rider Mia Runesson qualified for the finals of the Championship for the 6 year old horses. They did very well and finished 8th. With this result they were qualified for the World Championships at Verden.

His sire, Uphill is a popular breeding stallion in Holland with 4 approved sons (Carlton Hill, Brijlant, Fashion Hill, Glock's Gironn). They are easy characters and top gaits with success at the shows. Uphill has trained to Grand Prix dressage. At Indoor Geldrop Uphill won in the FEI Light Tour three times, and at Odense, Denmark, he won the Intermediare. In 2009, Uphill clinched the Dutch Championship at ZZ in the Big Tour.

Maternal grand sire of Carlton Hill, Vincent, was a successful Grand Prix dressage horse with Annemarie Sanders-Keijzer and is the sire of many good dressage horses including the Approved stallion Cabochon. Further back is Zebulon, sire of Goliath. Under Arjen Teeuwissen, Goliath brought solid value to the Dutch Dressage team winning a Silver Medal at the Olympic Games in Sydney.

The dam of Carlton Hill is the National Mare Champion, Rose of Vincent, who was shown at Z2-dressage. She is also rated the highest KWPN mare predicates of Preferent and Prestatie. Grandmother Guida is ‘Keur and Sport’ and is also dam of the ‘Preferent’ Lisa, a Z1 dressage mare. Great grand dam Beauty carried the predicates ‘Ster, Prestatie and Sport’.
