His mother is the keur UTV mare Elysette and she also
sired a daughter who is a Z jumper. Elysette is the half sister of
the approved stallion Amethist and the Champion Keur and UTV mare
Firette, Colette - 1.40 jumping and Ivan - Z Dressage. His
grandmother, Paerl is Keur Pref. Greatgrand dam, Ykje, was a Z jumper
herself and forms the base of this very strong breed.
Matterhorn became Champion of the
Stallion Selection in 's Hertogenbosch when he was 3 years old and
won the qualification for the finals of the National Championship for
4 years old jumpers, where he was also placed. He was also successful
in the Stallion Competition for 4 years old jumpers where he was also
placed. He was also placed in the finals of the stallion competitions
as a 5 and 6 year old.
Matterhorn was 4th place in the
Friesland Championships in Z jumping, was Champion in the Stallion
Competition in Cat C and took 1st Place in the Masters in Wanroy.
Matterhorn is now started at
naitional and international jumping levels.
Matterhorn possesses an exquisite exterior, good gaits, and a lot of jumping talent.
