We look forward to tracking her dressage career. Pirourette MG's sire Zenon VDL combines an excellent type, a lot of elevation, correct foudations and three first class gaits. He is a son of the ‘new Totilas’ of Edward Gal- the upcoming prodigy - Glock’s Zonik. At the age of only 9, the Blue Hors Zack-son has already become Dutch Champion in Ermelo and finished his year successfully at London Olympia. In the Grand Prix, Edward Gal and highly talented Glock’s Zonik had the best go. In the Freestyle to Music they scored almost 80% to take 3rd place. Zenon’s pedigree continues with the famous stallion Don Schufro and twice in the pedigree, who ridden by Denmark’s Andreas Helgstrand won team bronze at the Olympic Games in Hong Kong in 2008. In breeding, Don Schufro is unquestionably one of the best sons of the legendary Donnerhall I. Great-grandsire Lorentin I is a dressage stallion with Holsteiner roots. Ridden by the German rider Hubertus Schmidt, Lorentin I also competed at Grand Prix level in dressage. In 1990, Lorentin I produced the champion of the Holstein licensing Lusello. In total 10 of his sons were licensed and 19 of his daughters were awarded States Premiium. Raimondo and Roman bring the performance blood of the lengendary Ramzes AA in the previous generations. Zenon represents the Holstein lineage 4025. So far 25 licensed stallions come from this line, including Caligula I and II, Lango, Lancetto, Quality Touch Z, Royal Touch, United Touch, Untouched and Whitesnake as well as the internationally successful show jumping horses Cantate Touch/Ben Schroder (NED), his dam Classic Touch/Ludger Beerbaum (Olympic champion 1992), Classic Line 4/Cora Ackermann-Ripke, Lausanne/Breido Graf zu Rantzau and Lavantus/Franz-Josef Heitzer. Pirourette MG's dam is the imported elite #4 National Mare in Holland, Torette R (Silvano x Flemmingh). She has gone on to be the 2008 NEDA Grand Champion and the USDF New England Mare Champion, along with #2 USDF National Bred Mare Horse of the Year and #1 USDF KWPN-NA Bred Mare Horse of the Year. The motherline doesn't get much better than this. Her mother Lorette R is Elite and Preferent and grandmother Dorette is not only Elite but has her Sport predicate in Dressage. Her great grandmother Zigeunerin is the mother of the approved Stallion Goodtimes. Also, coming from this mare line (Holsteiner Stam 1795) is the CWHBA approved Hannoverian stallion Sagittarius, Oldenburg approved Stallion Sirius Song, NRPS and AES approved stallion Acapulco Z, AES approved stallion Cezeone, Zwuibrecker approved stallion Nemo 150, HSH/AEH Approved stallion Hampton, Grand Prix jumper Temp VDL (Indoctro) and the full sibling to Goodtimes-Grand Prix jumper Goodtimes Mercedes. Torette's sire Silvano N was a Grand Prix jumper before he change to Grand Prix dressage with Ellen Bontjes in Holland. A full sister of Torette R, Uerette (Silvano N x Flemmingh) is Star and provisional Keur. She was bought at the Drachten foal auciton in 2001 for 20,500 guilders. |
