The sire of Polansky is by the well known dressage Trakehner stallion Kostolany (champion at the stallion Inspection) who was very successful in the S classes in Germany and his father Enrico Caruso (Mahagoni x Amagun) in the FEI-classes in the USA. Kostolony also sired the famous Grand Prix stallion Gribaldi. Kostolony was name Sire of the Year for the Trakehners in 2009.
The dam of Polansky is Lonnevanck, a keur sport dressage horse by the legendary Donnerhall. At the age of 6 year Lonnevanck was competing at 4th Level already. Her mother. Fanbonnevanck. is a preferent mare by Ulft, the sire of Olympic Ferro. At the Borculo auction in 1999, the most expesnsive colt that was sold for 41,000 guilder was out of Fanbonnevanck. The mother of Fabonnevanck is a Roemer daughter competing at 3rd level.
Polansky finished his 70 day test with great success. He scored an 8 for suitability as a dressage horse. In the report he was mentioned as a very honest and reliable stallion with great suitability as a dressagehorse.
Polansky was the champion of the KWPN stallionc ompetition in 2002 and was also the winner of the KWPN stallions competition 2003 in Hengelo (Netherlands) and Weert ( Netherlands).
In 2009 Polansky was 3rd in the CDI La Mandria in Italy with a 64.79% with junior rider Danielle Houtvast on the individual test and 3rd in the team test with 63.78%
Polansky is a beautiful, big, black stallion with superb movements and character. He stamps this in his offspring with a nice rectangular time, 3 good gaits and super character.
Polansky has produced 2 approved KWPN sons Upper Class (Polansky x Doruto) who was 3rd in his stallion approvals and Vivaldo (Polansky x Montecristo) who was 4th in his stallion selections. Polansky has also produced 9 2nd round stallions, 7 3rd round stalions,3 stallions that have been selected for the 70 day test, 20 star mares and 6 keur mares.
