Wolisa is a big moving mare with lots of elasticity and suspension in her gaits with a nice free shoulder. She has a very sweet personality and easy to ride. Wolisa has a top pedigree enriched of KWPN sires for dressage, but also some nice jumping in the bloodlines too for that ultimate engagement we need in a dressage horse. Her sire is Rhodium who descends from a family rich in dressage blood, as well as jumping ability too. Rhodium's mother, grandmother and great-grandmother all earned very high jumping marks on their mare tests. Rhodium is a very well developed and extremely harmonious stallion that stands in a perfect rectangle. At his performance test the judges commended on a very well modeled stallion with a good forehand, strong upperline and legs with lots of quality. The natural ability of Rhodium to become an excellent dressage horse is enormous. He received 7 for walk, 8 for trot and 9 for canter and was judged sufficient over fences. Rhodium’s sire Olympic Ferro was the catalyst for the Netherland’s team silver Olympic win. Rhodium’s grand sire Le Mexico comes from some of the oldest and most successful jumping and performance bloodlines and traces back to Furioso. Wolisa's comes from a very good motherline, which is very important in breeding. Her motherline includes Democraat, Pion, Wellington, and Nimmerdor. From this mareline comes the approved stallion Kroniek and the Grand Prix stallion Donnerwind. Also from this mare line is a familiar mare Oisa ELITE owned by Mary Fabish. |
