A top pedigree with a sire line of the highest quality stallions. Corland’s dam is one of the best Holsteiner breeding lines: number 104 A. Out of this direct line is Retina, who won the Hamburg Derby twice.
His international career with W.J. van der Schans was very successful. Corland has placed 4th in the Grand Prix of Oslo, 6th in the Grand Prix in Helsinki, 5th in the Grand Prix in Bordeaux, 4th in the Grand Prix in Den Bosch, 2nd in the Sires of the World competition in Lanaken, 5th in the Grand Prix in Maastricht, 7th in the Grand Prix in Zuidlaren, 7th in the Grand Prix in La Baule, 2nd in the Grand Prix in Rotterdam, Champion of the Benelux in The Hague, 7th in the Grand Prix in Calgary and 7th in the World Cup in Verona.
At the European Championship of 2001, Corland proved to belong in the category of the best in the world. He won both qualifiers and had the best results of the Nation’s competition and had the fastest clear round in the qualifying speed class. In the finals, he finished in 9th place. Corland jumped convincingly over the heavy courses and showed what he is capable of.
As a sire Corland passes his jumping genes to his offspring all around the world. Successful at Grand Prix and International level are: Seacoast Silvana with J. Lansink, Snowland with R. Bril, Marlo with H. Dobbs, VDL Torlando with C. Solem, Sir Corland with W. J. van der Schans, VDL Rocksina with C. Wiskerke. Other successful international jumpers are: Heechhiem’s Tersina, Tomorrow, HBC Dancing Queen, Pracht S, VDL Santa Cruz, Sensation, Spring G, Pablo V, Carlanda II, Selma, Vimaira,Sakita Zeldenrust, Verona, etc.
Also at the Young Jumpers Championships his offspring are winning: Wisdom VDL Elc won the Championship for 5 years old jumpers in Mexico, Tartufon della Monica won the Championship for 5 years old jumpers in Italy and Viper H won the Championship for 6 years old jumpers in Canada. In 2007 Corjulana won the Italian Championship for 5 year olds and JCR Coriander was Champion of the 4 years old jumpers in Brazil. Cor de Son won the World Championship for 5 years old jumpers in 2001, VDL Torlando was Dutch Champion of the 5 years old jumpers and HBC Dancing Queen was Dutch Champion of the 6 year old jumpers. Universe Miss was the Dutch Foal Champion and Corland’s daughter Pendence received the highest mare test score of 2001. Carlanda was Dutch Champion of the Junior Riders and Little Miss was Champion of the British Young Rider championship. Corland has approved sons such as Pacific, Sir Corland and Santa Cruze that were all champions of their stallion tests.
This year Corland’s daughter Atersina was 3rd at the Dutch Championship of 3 year old mares and she became provincial Champion. Corland’s son Dynamyth D placed 5th in the Dutch foal Championship.
