The special black pearl Sarai L was born in the stables of Karsten Bundgaard and Maria Rudbeck (L Horses), who in 2022 won the title of Breeder of the Year at the Danish Warmblood Studbook. Sarai L is homogenous black and will not produce chestnut offspring.

His pedigree is built entirely on top European sires. His sire, Secret, won a silver medal at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses as a five-year-old and is a son of the three-time World Champion for Young Dressage Horses, Sezuan. Secret is a breeding phenomenon and has nearly 60 approved sons worldwide.

Grandsire For Romance I competed at the highest level in dressage and has 75 approved sons worldwide. His oldest offspring are only 10 years old, and three of them are already competing at Grand Prix level. The list of Small Tour horses seems endless.

His great-grandsire is the Grand Prix stallion Belissimo M, sire of 66 approved sons and more than 30 Grand Prix dressage horses. Of these, Isabell Werth's Bella Rose is perhaps the most famous. In addition to her silver medals at the Olympic Games, this combination has won no fewer than 32 Grand Prix victories.
